In honor of International Women’s Day, CULT Gallery proudly presents Berseri Kandi Women’s Show, an all-women group exhibition opening on March 8, 2025, the exhibition brings together a powerful assembly of artists who challenge societal expectations and embrace the evolving narratives of womanhood.

Taking inspiration from the wordplay of “berseri” (radiance) and “srikandi” (the legendary warrior), the show celebrates resilience and defiance in all its forms–one that radiates and nurtures its surrounding. “Berseri Kandi” is about women existing authentically embodies the duality of strength and grace, resistance and nurture. In a world that continues to confine women to specific roles in Asian societies where tradition and modernity remain in dialogue, the exhibition serves as a platform for reflection and renewal—particularly as we enter the fasting month, a time of contemplation and self-discovery.
