Lukewarm extends Aisha Rosli’s ongoing exploration of the human condition through the lens of figuration. Known for her evocative portrayals of solitude, intimacy, and vulnerability, Aisha’s paintings occupy a space between warmth and detachment, where desire meets hesitation, and tenderness becomes introspection. Her works capture the fleeting emotional states that arise in quiet private moments—offering viewers a reflection of themselves through muted tones and contemplative gestures.

CULT Gallery is proud to present Lukewarm, a solo exhibition by Aisha Rosli, in collaboration with Cuturi Gallery (Singapore). Opening at Tong Shin Terrace, the exhibition marks the artist’s first solo presentation in Kuala Lumpur. It is Cult’s first collaboration with a Singapore based gallery. The show runs from 15 November to 11 December 2025, with a public opening reception on Saturday, 15 November, from 6–10 pm, with an artists' sharing session at 6–7 pm.
In Lukewarm, Aisha’s figurative paintings express her dialogue with 20th-century painters she connects with such as Francis Bacon and Egon Schiele, as well as contemporaries like Marlene Dumas. Aisha re-interprets their psychological depth through her own distinct visual language. The exhibition invites audiences to experience emotions rendered through Aisha’s sensitivity to mood, colour, texture and forms.
