Shapes emerge — rooted yet reaching upward — folding one place intoanother. They move with the rhythm of journeys, holding the pause between
arrival and departure, the quiet negotiation of belonging.
Colours are drawn from what the hands remember: Bunga Telang once
gathered in familiar gardens, the dry rustle of onion skins, tea leaves from well-used cups, coreopsis blooming under attentive care. Each pigment carries a
season, a scent, a fragment of home.
This series is a map of crossings, meetings, and horizons, told through shapes, colours, and memories. Inspired by geometric forms, the works hold livedexperience, offering cloth as a space where heritage, identity, and place are
gently woven together.
Amid these crossings, Gerhana lingers in eclipse — a woman’s gaze turnedoutward, her stillness inward. Foraged pigments stain the cloth in quiet layers, carrying the weight of reflection, the hush between shadow and light. If theabstract works chart the rhythm of movement, Gerhana gathers its pause —where memory sits, where belonging deepens, where healing takes root.
